Sure the Palm Centro might be one of the worst names for a cell phone or PDA ever, but all it needs is a Smurfy make over.

It's to be offered from AT&T, not Verizon or Sprint for some reason, in the same hue as Gargamel's favorite appetizer.

Anyway, the Blue Palm Centro comes out Friday 11th, it appears for $100, but in whatever the color, it's likely to be overshadowed by another phone making it's debut that day on the AT&T network.

Yes, those geniuses at AT&T are actually launching a 2nd phone, the same day as the iPhone.
