Senate is investigating text message prices

When senator Herb Kohl, who happens to also be chairman of the Senate antitrust subcommittee, noticed that SMS prices have doubled among the big four carriers the last three years, it set off a red flag that looks to be leading to public hearings on the issue.

Americans traditionally like to watch their football on a big as screen as possible, so I have to believe that Sprint is getting ripped off. They recently signed a deal with the NFL believed to $500 million over 5 year, to broadcast the audio of all NFL games over their cell phones and live push the video from a select few games each year from the NFL Network onto their handsets.

Sprint's Basic 200 plan is nearly as good, while it only gives you 200 anytime minutes, it also gives free Sprint roaming, unlimited free weekends and adds unlimited free minutes after 9pm. 

California judge rules cell phone termination fees illegal

If you think cell phone termination fees are unfair well get this... the goverment actually agrees with you.

California Superior Court Judge Bonnie Sabraw has just issued a tenitive ruling against Sprint, and for a class action suit of Sprint customers, stating that the terminations fees are illegal. Sprint must pay $18.3 to customers who paid the fee, and another $54.8 in credit to the customers who refused to pay the fee.
