Sidekick LX: new way to rip off children

Okay, I’ve never been a big Sidekick fan; so it’s fair to say I’m not looking at the just announced Sidekick LX with an open mind, but hear me out:
The issue with Sidekicks isn’t that they’re horrible, it’s just that anything a Sidekick does there’s always another handset that can to the exact same thing better at a cheaper price. The Sidekick LX has a QWERTY keyboard; so does The Curve. The LX feature AOL Instant Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger. The Curve has AOL, Windows Live, and Yahoo! as well as Google Talk, ICQ, and Blackberry Messenger. The Sidekick has a 1.3 megapixel camera; The Curve has a 2 megapixel camera.
