LG Black Sapphire MG810 Chocolate Flip Phone Exists

chocoflip1.jpgDon't expect this to be a monster of a cellphone, because it's not. But for those longing for a Chocolate flip phone that is a little too reminiscent of the KRZR, look no further than the Black Sapphire MG810. The Black Sapphire (aka VX8600, and U830) is said to have a 1.3 megapixel camera, 176 x 220 internal display (and 96x 96 external), media player that supports MP3 and AAC, Bluetooth, FM radio, 128MB of flash memory, and GRPS. Big freakin' deal. Still, she does look pretty good so maybe that's what the fuss is about (who knows?). Apparently the phone is already on sale in South America for 999 Brazil Reais (or about $465 US). Pretty pricey for a phone that doesn't appear to have cutting edge qualities or expandable media, but as Engadget so cleverly puts it: "You're not paying for features here, remember?"
