How to hack into Miley Cyrus' Cell Phone - explained

So Yahoo reporter Christopher Null just scored an exclusive interview from one of the hackers who broke into Miley Cyrus' T-Mobile Sidekick and the method they used is suprisingly low tech.

Basically the guy, who goes by the handle "K Dollars" explained that since T-Mobile backs up all the information stored on it's customers cell phones, including photos, all he had to do was call a customer service rep and impersonate a T-Mobile superviser to get Cyrus' account information.

Then the hackers called back later, and armed only with the account number and her social security number, pretended to be Miley Cyrus and ask that the account and the contents of the cell phone be moved to the hacker's cell phone.

The scariest part of the interview is K Dollars admits that since cell phone carriers seem indifferent to this loophole, there's really nothing to prevent this happening to you. Anyone, anytime can have their personal messages and pictures stolen from their cell phone.

(Other than if "it's technically illegal" is an actual deterrent.)
